Petrified Wood Indonesia

A profound
legacy of time.

Petrified wood is not merely furniture. It is a geological record—a snapshot of Earth's ancient history, preserved for millions of years.

During the Miocene epoch, ancient forests across the Indonesian archipelago were buried beneath volcanic ash. Cut off from oxygen, the organic cellular structure of the wood was replaced by silica, quartz, and chalcedony carried by mineral-rich water. What was once timber became solid stone, preserving the original growth rings and organic grain.

Our Curation

We operate as curators and stewards of these geological records. Each slab, console, and object in our catalog is carefully selected for its structural integrity, mineral density, and rarity.

Because this material cannot be manufactured or replicated, no two pieces are identical. The deep charcoals, stark whites, and intricate earth tones are dictated entirely by the specific minerals present in the groundwater during fossilization.

Bespoke Projects

We collaborate with interior designers, architects, and private clients to source pieces that anchor a room. From monumental dining tables to precisely engineered bathroom fixtures, we bring petrified wood into modern spaces.
